Republic of Pirates - Now in Danish

The Danish-langauge edition of my book, The Republic of Pirates, has just been released by Borgens Forlag of Valby, Denmark.

Piraternes Republik: Sorskaeg, Rackham den Rode og de caribiske sorovere is available throughout Denmark, the land of my maternal great-great grandparents, and will hopefully be shipped to Greenland, where I've done some reporting of late.

It's received some early press attention, including pieces in the Copenhagen edition of Metro and Fyens Stiftstidende, the daily newspaper for Funen, my ancestor's native island. I've no idea what either article says -- nobody's spoken Danish in  my family in nearly a century -- but hopefully I haven't brought shame on the Andersen name. (After all, it seems to account for half the population over there.)
